A Shipment is a group of products on a Sales Order that will be shipping together from one location. A Shipment is automatically created for every Sales Order placed in Cohub, with all items on the order.  When printed, they serve as pick lists and packing slips.  Shipments can be edited until they reach a completed state, when they are "Shipped". When all Shipments from a Sales Order have been marked "Shipped", the Sales Order state will also change to Complete (and can no longer be edited).

All shipments can be found by clicking "Shipping" in the lefthand navigation bar. You can filter by location, and browse through a list of shipments in different states by tab. Find out more about the different states of Shipments here, and Sales Orders here. You can also get Shipping Quotes from the Tools menu of the Shipments page.

Shipments can be added to any Sales Order (at any time), and you can create multiple Shipments with different Locations for a single Sales Order. You may need to split up shipments because you don't have enough stock in one Location, or maybe you need to send replacements to your customer for damaged items Received.

To do this, you would remove the item(s) from the original shipment created by Cohub, and then create a Shipment for each additional location that will be fulfilling the order with the item(s) shipping from each.

You can also create ad hoc shipments for anything you need to ship out that does not have an associated Sales Order.

To do so, go the Shipping screen from the lefthand nav bar. At the top left of this screen, you will see a "New Shipment" button.

Now you can add items, enter the shipping address and Save the Shipment and it will show up on your pending shipments board. Be careful to choose the correct Location from which you would like to ship.

From here, add packages and ship as usual. If you add items from Cohub (which is optional), it will also calculate an estimated weight for the shipment.
